What to say on your personal web page?
Your personal web page must aim to promote the three aspects of your business: Recruiting, the Rendez-vous and the Product.
First, determine what aspect between Recruiting or the Rendez-vous you want to put forward. This will be the subject of your main headline and first paragraph.
The other subjects should follow in short paragraphs with sub-heads. Use short paragraphs with sub-heads to introduce your different ideas. Use bold fonts to make the important information stand out.
Headline
Use a unique selling point as your main headline. Keep it short and direct.
Example for Hosting a Rendez-Vous :
-
“A Rendez-vous with me can earn you FREE products!”
- This points out an advantage the visitor can benefit from.
For Recruiting, talk about the benefits you got :
“I paid off all of my credit card debt with my Demarle at Home business!“
or“I sent my kids to the best college thanks to my Demarle at Home business!”
or“My Demarle at Home business paid for our family vacations this year!”
- These headlines point out the benefit you got from your DAH business. By explaining how this business benefited your life, you are selling your reader the idea of joining you.
First Paragraph
This is where you develop the subject of your main headline. Your first sentence should repeat your main headline idea, adding details. The conclusion of this first paragraph should include a call to action. Always keep your paragraphs short.
Example for the Rendez-Vous :
Holding a Demarle at Home Rendez-vous is a lot of fun, good food and new cooking ideas shared amongst friends, but also FREE products for the host! When you decide to hold a Demarle at Home Rendez-vous with me, you allow your friends to discover a whole new world of easy to replicate culinary experiences, but you also get up to 20% of the sales in FREE products in addition to more items at 50% off.
I will guide you step by step in organizing your invitations and will give you the secrets of a successful Rendez-vous. Call or email me to discuss the opportunity!
Example for Recruiting :
With no prior experience in direct sales, I earned enough to pay back all of my credit card debt! Of course, this did not happen overnight, but what did happen was the feeling that I could make it! The support and training I got from the very beginning from my sponsor, but also from the Demarle at Home corporate staff helped me gain confidence in myself. After a few days of reading and preparing, I was able to book my first Rendez-vous that brought me 180.00 in commissions, but mostly allowed me to meet Karen Jonhston, my first recruit and now best friend. With experience and the right support, my business became more and more lucrative to a point where I was able to quit my day job to work full time on my Demarle at Home business. Today, my team consists of 48 interesting, dynamic and inspiring Representatives. We meet monthly, share ideas and support each other every single day of the year. If you would like to know more about joining us, call or email me for a coffee chat!
Second Paragraph
If your first paragraph talked about a Rendez-vous, your second one should talk about Recruiting, and vice versa. Make sure to start with a short sub-head. Your second paragraph should be shorter that your first one.
Example :
Do you Rendez-vous?
Discover a whole new way of cooking that makes you look like a chef while making your life easier. Holding a Rendez-vous can earn you between 10 and 20% of the sales in free products, plus additional items at 50% off. Call or email me to find out how I can guide you step by step in holding your own Rendez-vous.
Third Paragraph
This is where you talk about the product. Tell a story. Explain how it changed your way of cooking.
Example :
My kids thought I suddenly became a genie!
Making Teddy Bear pancakes may sound too fancy for your busy mornings, but as a mom of five, it made my mornings easy! Using a Teddy Bear Flexipan® tray, I cook 16 pancakes simultaneously using no fat and the kids enjoy the Teddy Bear shapes! In fact, every meal is now easier than ever and looks better than ever! I can take my molds from the oven to the freezer and back to the oven, I need no oil, and it takes only a minute to clean! Call or email me for a demonstration or shop online with me and start enjoying Flexipan® today!
Other Paragraphs
You can use other paragraphs to introduce other subjects. Use a different paragraph with a sub-head for every new subject. Remain concise and go straight to the point. Remain genuine and try telling stories to keep your reader interested.
What kind of photo should you use?
We suggest to use a head shot tightly cropped. Avoid using a photo with a lot of space on top or on either sides of your head. This will give you more presence and inspire more confidence.
If you are not alone on your photo, make sure all people on the photo are close tight to each other. Also avoid empty space on top or on either sides.
